Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Deposit Requirements
A deposit is required to secure any travel reservation, including but not limited to flights, accommodations, cruises, tours, transportation services, and packaged itineraries. Deposit amounts vary by supplier, destination, and travel dates. Clients will be informed of the required deposit at the time of booking.
2. Non‑Refundable Deposits
All deposits are strictly non‑refundable. By submitting a deposit, the client acknowledges and agrees that these funds secure travel arrangements that cannot be recovered once confirmed. This applies to all cancellations or changes, regardless of the reason.
3. Supplier Terms & Conditions
Each travel supplier (airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, etc.) maintains its own policies regarding deposits, payments, cancellations, and changes. These supplier policies apply in addition to Escapes and Excursions with E Terms & Conditions. Clients are responsible for reviewing and understanding all supplier rules.
4. Final Payment
Final payment deadlines vary by supplier and will be communicated at the time of booking. Failure to make final payment by the stated deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation. All payments made up to that point, including deposits, remain non‑refundable unless travel insurance has been purchased. (excluding non-refundable deposits as stated)
Cancellation Policy
5. Client‑Initiated Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. The effective date of cancellation is the date Escapes and Excursions with E receives written notice. Cancellation fees will apply based on supplier rules and the timing of the cancellation.
6. Non‑Refundable Deposits
Deposits remain non‑refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations due to personal reasons, medical issues, travel restrictions, or unforeseen events.
7. Supplier Cancellation Fees
Suppliers may impose additional cancellation penalties. Clients are responsible for all supplier‑imposed fees, which will be deducted from any eligible refunds or credits.
8. Refund Eligibility
Refunds, when available, are determined solely by supplier policies or if travel insurance is purchased. Escapes and Excursions with E does not guarantee refunds of any kind. Supplier processing times vary and may take several weeks.
9. No‑Show Policy
Clients who fail to appear for scheduled travel without prior written cancellation are considered “no‑shows.” No‑show reservations are entirely non‑refundable.
Rescheduling Policy
10. Requesting a Reschedule
All rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing. Escapes and Excursions with E will make every reasonable effort to accommodate new dates or itinerary changes, but approval is subject to supplier availability and policies.
11. Non‑Refundable Deposits
Deposits remain non‑refundable even when rescheduling. A deposit may be applied to new dates only if permitted by the supplier.
12. Supplier Change Fees & Fare Differences
Clients are responsible for all supplier‑imposed charges related to rescheduling, including:
Change or modification fees
Fare or rate increases
Penalties for altering travel dates
Additional costs associated with revised arrangements
These fees must be paid before Escapes and Excursions with E can finalize the updated booking.
13. Service Fees
Escapes and Excursions with E may charge additional service fees for processing rescheduling requests. These fees are non‑refundable.
14. Availability & Pricing
Rescheduled travel is subject to current availability and pricing. Original rates, promotions, or inventory cannot be guaranteed.
15. Changes Treated as Cancellations
Some suppliers treat date changes as cancellations. In such cases, cancellation penalties may apply, and new reservations may require additional deposits or payments.
Travel Insurance
16. Insurance Recommendation
Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unexpected events that may affect travel plans, including cancellations, interruptions, medical emergencies, or delays. While insurance may offer reimbursement for certain covered reasons, it does not alter Escapes and Excursions with E non‑refundable deposit, cancellation, or rescheduling policies.
17. Insurance Quotes
Escapes and Excursions with E can provide a travel insurance quote through Allianz Travel Insurance upon request. Clients are encouraged to review coverage options carefully to ensure the policy meets their individual needs.
Client Acknowledgment
18. Agreement to Terms
By booking travel services through Escapes and Excursions with E, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including all deposit, payment, cancellation, and rescheduling policies, as well as all applicable supplier terms.
